タスク1 – 出題される問題パターン
Independent Speakingでは、以下の6つの設問が出題されます。
| 1. Agree/Disagree | 設問に対して「賛成」か「反対」いずれかの意見を述べる問題 ex. Do you agree or disagree that a celebrity should set a good example for young people? Use details and examples to support your explanation. |
| 2. Preference | 複数の選択肢のうちどの選択肢がより好ましいかを述べる問題 ex. Do you prefer to work in a team or work alone? Use details and examples to support your explanation. |
| 3. If/Imaginary | 仮定の設問に対して自分の考えを述べる問題 ex. If you had a small amount of money, would you spend it right away or save it? Use details and examples to support your explanation. |
| 4. Description/Explanation | 人物や事象に関する描写 ex. Is there any invention that has changed your life most recently? Explain your response with details and examples. |
| 5. Advantage/Disadvantage | 設問に対してアドバンテージディスアドバンテージの2点を述べる問題 ex. Should universities allow students to watch TV in their dormitories? What is your opinion and why? What are the advantages and disadvantages of watching TV in dormitories? |
| 6. Three Choices | 3つある選択肢の中から1つを選択して理由を述べる問題 ex. Your degree requires you to take one course, which one would you choose? (1) Energy and environment (2) Health and nutrition (3) Solar system |
いずれの問題も、質問に対する主張を理由と具体例を挙げて述べていきます。
それぞれのパターンによって回答のポイントが変わるので、事前にできるだけ幅広い種類の問題に触れておくことが大切です。
