役立つフレーズ
以下の各ステップごとに役立つフレーズをこのレッスンではまとめました:
STEP1 挨拶・導入
まずは会話の始まりです。特有な表現はありませんが、採点基準を意識して明るくクリアに話すことを心がけましょう:
- Good morning (afternoon / evening).
- Nice to see you.
- How are you today?

- Thanks for coming to see me today.
- Pleased to meet you.
STEP2 症状把握
患者の症状に関して質問する場面です。無駄な質問はせずに、症状に合わせて適切な質問をすることを心がけましょう:
来院の目的を聞く表現:
- What brings you along here today?
- What brought you here today?
- What seems to be the trouble(problem)?
- How can I help you?
- What can I do for you?
- What seems to be bothering you?
症状の部位を聞く表現:
- Where is the sensation?
- Can you tell me where it hurts?
- Where do you feel sore?
- Where does it feel sore?
- Which part of the/your body is affected?
- Show me where the pain is.
- Tell me where the pain is.
症状の期間を聞く表現:
- When did it start?
- How long have you had it?
- How long have you been feeling like this?
- How often has this been occurring?
- How long have you been suffering from this problem?
- When did the problem start?
痛みの種類や度合いを聞く表現:
- Is the pain dull or sharp?
- What is the pain like?
- Could you describe the pain?
- How severe is the pain?
- Does it disturb you at night?
- Does it feel numb?
- Does it occur all of the time or just now and again?
STEP3 原因の具体化
処方する上で考慮するべきことに関して質問を掘り下げていきます:
- Have you had any…?
- Does the discomfort appear to be brought on by anything in particular?
- What do you do when you get the pain?
- Do you ever get pain at night?
- Does anything special make it worse?
- Does anything seem to bring it on/aggravate the problem? » Is there anything
STEP4 処方
これまでのステップで聞き出した情報を参考にして、適切な処方をする場面です:
- I think we would start with…
- I will give you a prescription for…
- I will give you a referral for…
- I’ll write a referral letter to…
- I’m going to ask you to fill a prescription for…
- We’ll run some tests to see…
STEP5 心理的サポート
患者が不安に思っていることや、病気に対してネガティブになっている心情をサポートする場面です:
- I can understand your concerns, but…
- I’m sure you won’t have any more trouble…
- Don’t worry, it’ll go away by itself (in a few days / with some rest… )
- Rest assured, this is quite common…
- There is nothing to be overly concerned about.
STEP6 アドバイス
処方以外の日常生活で適切な行動指針を伝えましょう:
- What I think we’ll do is…
- What I suggest you do is…
- It is worthwhile…
- I advise you…
- We could make time to follow up on that.

STEP7 クロージング
最後に診療が終わらせる表現です:

番外編 患者の理解度に応じて必要な表現
患者の理解度に応じて、以下のような質問をすることも効果的です:
